Gerard has particular expertise in artificial intelligence, database systems, networks, user interfaces, operating systems, and computer game systems. Professional experience includes drafting and prosecution of patent applications to grant, client portfolio management and competitor surveillance, and advising on infringement and validity issues. Member of NZIPA and the Technology Law Society of New Zealand.
