In the intellectual property profession since 1992,
including several years' experience in the in-house IP practice
of a large multinational corporation. Technical areas covered
include electrical and electronic engineering, with specific
expertise in telecommunications, micro-electronics, integrated
circuits, processor architecture, opto-electronics, and
software technology. Professional experience includes representation
before the EPO in opposition and appeal proceedings. Further
expertise in patent protection of computer program inventions
and business method inventions worldwide. Dave is also a
Chartered Engineer and a member of both the IEE and the
IEEE.
