two years in a firm of private practitioners in Germany.
Technical areas covered include chemistry (organic, inorganic
and physical), biochemistry, and biotechnology. Particular
expertise in alloys, polymers, synthetic organic chemistry,
photography, coatings, pharmaceuticals, protein chemistry,
genomics, and cell transformation. Professional experience
includes opinion work, written and oral representation before
the EPO in opposition and appeal proceedings, inventorship
disputes, and advising on and obtaining Supplementary Protection
Certificates for medicinal and plant protection products.
